Artistic Outpost also a division of ODB has a wonderful Route 66 set.

I will bring my box of  a variety of card fronts so you can choose your color.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
black edger
preferred coloring method
I used colored pencils & colorless blender

That should do it!
Enjoy your day!

5/25/2017 Thursday's at Scraps Galore

Today we have a special guest teacher,
our very own Jean Buhl.
Jean did this class in April and it caught all our eyes.
I asked Jean to teach it to the Thursday crew!
She will show you how to create a scenic card using color bursts.
Isn't it lovely.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
Jean says she has everything we need,
maybe an edger if you want.
if anything changes I'll let you know.

Thanks, Susan *Ü*

5/18/2017 Thursday's at Scraps Galore

Today's card came about while looking
at the negative space left from a die cut.
I popped it up on some fun foam for added dimension.
You are also left with the letters to make another card,
gotta love a two for one card!
Here is my first attempt, too much white!

I will bring a selection of different card fronts
so the color choice is yours!

Please bring your basic class kit
including
white fun foam or foam tape
black edger

That should do it!
Thanks,

5/11/17 Thursday's at Scraps Galore

Today my son Alex is graduating from UNM school of nursing!
Hip Hip Hooray!

So Sue will be teaching this class.
Here are the samples, as always they're wonderful.
Here's Sue's note to me,
I call it a "House Card," and this shows two forms of it.
In the first, the house is on the front of the card.
In the second, the house IS the front of the card.
I will bring all kinds of goodies to create the houses,
including windows, doors, flowers, stamps, etc.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
·         Large and small scissors
·         Pencil with/and eraser
·         Adhesive:  tape runner and/or glue stick and/or foam tape and/or glue pen and/or red line tape and/or Mod Podge, etc.
·         Black and gold edgers
·         Colored markers or acrylic dabbers or similar
·         Trim and other embellishments to add to the house if needed, or you can add some things at home after using what I bring

Have a wonderful week and I can't wait to hear about the fun you had with Sue!
