Yesterday I dropped of a 22 1/2 lb box filled with 747 cards that will be part of the packages that the Blue Star Mothers are preparing to send to our deployed soldiers. Their next and final shipment for 2011 will be in November. The boxes will be filled with necessities that can't always be obtained plus some holiday cheer for those serving throughout the holiday season. To find out more about this worthy organization and what they will need for the boxes please go to http://www.rgvnmbsm.org/
So all my card making friends, while your sitting in front of the TV watching all the new shows, grab some of those cards you have received and just can't bear to get rid of and re purpose them. Cut off the front, adhere to a card back, place in an envelope and there you go, one more card that someone will really appreciate ... now on to the next card ... repeat ...
Drop them off at China Phoenix 2 or Scraps Galore clearly marked with my name or Blue Star Mothers! Now wasn't that simple *Ü* Seriously, thank you all for the donations, let's keep them coming. Any questions email me email@example.com
Stay tuned their is one more charity that I support all year long but will be asking for your help during the holiday season! Coming soon ...
