11/9/2017 Thursday's @ NDB

Today we meet in the Community Room.

Nothing says Hanukkah like latkes,
fried potatoes, yum!

Lawn Fawn came out with this Hanukkah set.
Rather than go with the traditional Menorah
I played with the latkes.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
scissors
ballpoint glue pen
tweezers
silver edger
coloring medium
(I used colored pencils and a colorless blender.)

That will do it,
have a wonderful week.

4/14/2015 class @CP2

Today's card was prompted by this retro camera paper that I bought.
I love the Polaroid camera from Echo Park and
paired it with the Polaroid picture die from Sizzix.
Don't you love it when items from different companies work together!
I used stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn Critters at the park.

Please bring your basic class kit including
glue pen
coloring medium of your choice
I used watercolor pencils
water brush or paint brush
spray water bottle
non stick craft sheet
black edger
I also used
mowed lawn
broken china
ink blending tool for the background

That should do it,
looking forward to seeing everyone at Dina's class this weekend.
See you all on Tuesday!
Susan *Ü*

PS we will celebrate Nancy's and Joan's birthdays on the 28th.

10/7/2014 class @CP2

Hello all my crafty friends and Happy World Card Making Day!
Yes it's a real thing and I hope you have an opportunity to make a card today.
I did, haha ... for Tuesday's class.
We will be working with acetate and hot air balloons.
I colored my balloons with sharpies looking for that bold and vibrant color.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
bone folder
black edger
color medium of your choice,
I will bring my box of sharpies.

Don't forget we will be celebrating Bette's birthday
and it is also Nancy Bruce's birthday,
you can send a card to her house if you wish.

Have a great weekend and see you on Tuesday!

8/5/2014 class @CP2

Oh my, August already,
guess I should start thinking about holiday cards but I'm just not ready!

So I saw this adorable set from Lawn Fawn called Critters in the Dog Park
and new I just had to have it!
Too cute, I think I will get a lot of use out of this set and it also has matching dies!

My mom's beloved pooch has a birthday coming up,
so I thought I would make a card to commemorate the occasion.
Don't they look like they are having so much fun?
I used some very old scrapbook paper so the patterns and colors will vary
but we will cut our own Polaroid frames.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
water brush or paint brush & water
black edger
whatever coloring medium you prefer,
I used watercolor pencils.

That should do it!

August birthdays will be celebrated on the 12th,
treats by Bette.
