 Today's card features a Katzelkraft Stamp

that was colored with colored pencils & Gamsol.

distress oxide 2 shade of blue, lt & dk
(stormy sky & tumbled glass)
colored pencils
eraser
pencil sharpener
gamsol (if you have)
paper blending stump
black edger

 Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

May you be surrounded by love, with full bellies!


We will be creating this card that celebrates the friendship 

with the women in our lives.

This is a Hero Arts set called Better Together.

Bring your favorite colors and either a blending brush or foam blender.
The main image is colored with alcohol markers.
Bring your favorite coloring medium for the focal image

 This weeks card I thought we'd do a scene through a die cut.

I wish I had a more open leaf but you work with what you have!

scrap computer for masking
liquid glue
brown edger
I used distress oxides and blending brushes
blue/purple & green(I think I would use a darker green)
blue print sketch, wilted violet & olive green

 It's my favorite time of year Balloon Fiesta!

Using this new stamp from Crafty Individual and

a very old stamp from Stampscapes we have a wonderful scene.

distress oxides sky colors & foam blenders
I used picked raspberry, spun sugar & milled lavender
favorite coloring medium
I used inktense watercolor pencils
water brush/pencil sharpener/sand eraser
scissors
double sided tape runner
liquid glue
black edger

 This card is for all you ink blenders who have a heavy hand!

We're water stamping! I used distress oxides because I like the way they blend,

but any water soluble ink will work.

Some are inked randomly others are linear.

wild honey, ripe persimmons & candied apple
double sided adhesive
black edger

 Today's card we'll be doing an ink blending resist

on the background and

painting the butterfly with distress oxides or

ink with small blending brush

twisted citron, mermaid lagoon & wilted violet


dusty concord, blueprint sketch &broken china

Please bring your basic class kit 

including

double sided tape & liquid glue

scissors

non stick craft mat

paper towel 

black edger

Distress Oxide inks

2-3 colors that are blendable

blending brush (or foam blender)

butterfly color your favorite medium 

(I used carved pumpkin distress oxide)

small blending brush or

small paint brush & water

Today's card is a technique called Photo Oxide.

We will be using photo paper and distress oxides.

I tried several color combinations.

blueprint sketch, pine needles, mermaid lagoon & peacock feathers

 

carved pumpkin, ripe persimmons, picked raspberry & rusty hinge

(I don't have this sample, I sent it to someone)



mustard seed, picked raspberry, candied apple & seedless preserves

spray bottle w/water

baby wipes

scrap paper to mask hummers

Distress Oxides

2-4 colors that work together (see above)

To color the hummers

Distress ink & foam blenders

picked raspberry, mowed lawn & peacock feathers

Hello all, the last class of 2018, hard to believe how quickly the year went.

After class we will have our annual holiday party at
