Catalog of the Month at Scraps Galore~ March 2015

March Catalog of the Month
at Scraps Galore is Heartfelt Creations.
https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/

This month's class will be on March 28
and will be co-taught by myself and Elizabeth.
We will be doing 5 cards,
Elizabeth will do the three in the brand new Heartfelt Creations kit.
She took the class at CHA and will share what she learned.
I will be doing two cards with their stamps & dies.
There is a bit of a learning curve and I will show you what I learned
for perfect placement of their dies onto a stamped image.

I will put together a list of supplies you need to bring
and email those enrolled in this class.

This class is limited to 8 and the cost will be $25,
so if you are interested call Scraps Galore today,
858 1080.

As always Elizabeth will offer a discount for any Heartfelt Creations
product purchased or ordered during the month of March.

Here's what I did.

including
watercolor pencils
(or preferred medium)
water brush
non stick craft sheet
black edger

Enjoy your weekend, see you on Tuesday.

8/20/2013 class @CP2

This week I decided to try a new technique
(at least for me)
You need a lined stamp with open space,
after digging through everything and not really finding what I was looking for
I settled on this stamp from Heartfelt Creations.
Bought it last year at the convention and it still had it's paper backing on!
Time to ink it up!
The technique is called floating reinker water coloring.
The thing that appealed to me is that it is out of your control,
yeah you pick the colors and drop them down
but after that every piece will look differently.

So here's the one that I did.
Then I started thinking, how about stains and sprays, oh my!
We'll have to save that for another time.

Please bring your basic class kit
be sure to include
scissors
non stick craft sheet
gold edger
spray bottle for water
paint brush
brushed corduroy distress stain
and foam blending tool

4/23/2013 class @CP2

Finally, I'm posting Tuesday's card!
Did you ever have one of those days when nothing seems to work?
Well I've had two days of this, what's up with that?
Anyway today we will be doing a modified tri shutter card.
Back in 2010 we did this one.

So the modification is having a card back large enough to write your sentiment.
Here's what I came up with (so many possibilities!)

Now I have to cut all those little pieces, what was I thinking!
Basic Class Kit including
water brush/blending tool
black edger
I used water color pencils, lol no surprise there!

Enjoy what's left of your weekend and here's to a productive week ahead of us.
