Birthday Celebration Today
for Barb & Katie

Gail Sakovitch turned me onto DecoArt one step crackle

I used it on printed paper, added some distress stains
(it could be any medium)
Used this Carabelle Stamp and a die cut sentiment
and you have a wonderful card.

My original two on a different card stock,
today we'll use the whiter paper.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
non stick craft mat
edger (color your choice)
Just one,
distress stains, water colors or acrylic paint
paper towel & baby wipes
liquid glue (I used Elmer's)

I think that's it!
See you all on Thursday.

We will be doing the black version but I also did one in white
and I just wanted to show you the difference.

including
Poker
Gold Edger
ballpoint glue pen
Gold ink pad if you own one
if you've been around for a while the tool Bette gave all of us for Christmas
a few years ago, aka Bette's tool
I will show you how to make a simpler version of this tool,
so no worries!

That's it for now, have a great week!

2/1/2018 Thursday's @ NDB

Last week I found myself at Vintage Market
https://www.vintagemarketanddesign.com/
with my gift card, thanks to all of you!
There will be lots of new stuff arriving on the heels of Creativation,
but you know me I had to buy something now.

I love Carabelle products from France.
https://www.artstamp.fr/index.cfm
So I picked up this funky flower called
Jardin des Delices
which translates to
The Garden of Earthly Delights.
We will create a background with Distress Oxides.
I colored the image with every possible item I had within reach.
Sharpies, gel pens, mermaid markers, glitter markers, paint pens, wink of stella etc.
I do believe you can use anything or a variety of them all.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
Non stick craft mat
spray bottle with water
black edger
Distress Oxides (I used)
twisted citron
salty ocean
peacock feathers
Perfect Pearl spray
Variety of coloring items, pens, markers etc.

That should do it,
Loving this warm weather.
See you Thursday.
