SWCC Slimline card class

March 20 12-3pm Class cost $30

Slimline cards are the newest trend in the card making world. 
Companies are making dies, stamps and stencils for this new format. 
In this class we will be using the things we already own and adapting them to this new size. 
Many tips and tricks along the way to use in your everyday crafting.
These cards don't require any additional postage. 
Everything is included to make the 6 cards. 
I will email you several days before class with a list of supplies that I used. 
If you have these items feel free to bring them and you won't have to wait on sharing mine.
Reservations are required and limited due to Covid 19 restrictions.

SWCC Ink Blending class 10/18/2020

October 18, 12 noon -3pm

We will start with white cards stock and learn how to ink blend two different ways.

We will be using brushes and foam applicators

with distress oxide inks, although these methods will work with any ink pad.

Lots of tips and tricks along the way.

Not into cards apply these methods to art journals, mixed media pieces etc.

You will complete a total of 4 cards.

Saturday February 29 Acrylic Pouring at SWCC

Acrylic Pour Reflection Swipe Triptych

Time & Location

Feb 29, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
SW Craft Connection, 3107 Eubank Blvd NE, Unit #27
I will be teaching you how to do this Reflection Swipe 
using my new favorite paints, Extreme Sheen. 
Lots of shimmer and sparkle!
The canvases will be (2) 8 x 10 and (1) 10 x 20 
with the ability to display in any manner pleasing to you.
No experience is needed.  Beginners and Curious are welcome.

All canvas and paint colors will be provided.
Please bring a box lined with wax paper to transport your art home to dry.
OLD CLOTHES to paint in.  Aprons are available to use also.
If you like and it is optional:
gloves
baby wipes
palette knife/paint brush (I use my hands)
culinary torch

$40.00 per person
Registration through SWCC required.

Saturday September 28 Acrylic Pouring at SWCC

Halloween is upon us, let's make some home decor.
We will pour and use the swipe technique to 
create this wonderful silhouette of a witch on canvas.


And we will pour a hanging pumpkin on particle board.
I did a dirty cup, one was poured the other was flipped.



Saturday September 28 2pm-5pm
$30.00 per student

Supplies to bring to class
spray bottle w/water  
scissors
pencil w/eraser
paperclip
2 paint brushes one large(approx 1/2) and one detail
Optional items if you want your own
palette knife
baby wipes
paper towel
culinary torch
gloves
SWCC has aprons for you to use, I still suggest wearing old clothes  
Box w/wax paper to transport home IF you choose not to leave at studio
(SWCC does have space to let your pieces dry.)  
All other supplies will be provided, with a big dose of fun!

Saturday August 24 Acrylic Pouring at SWCC

Join me in another Acrylic pour, this time featuring
beaches, oceans and waves.
Saturday 8/24, 10am - 1pm at SW Craft Connection

Create two canvases one with a beach/ocean, the other a wave.
Everything is provided with some items to share.
If you have any of the items below please bring them for your convenience.

SWCC does have space to let your pieces dry. If you choose not to leave them at the studio,
bring box w/wax paper to transport home.

Saturday May 25 Acrylic Pouring at SWCC

It's here, Acrylic Pouring, swipe technique.
This Saturday 10 -1 at SW Craft Connection.

We will do 2 gallery wrapped canvases.
The first a basic swipe so you can get the feel for it.
The second will be a silhouette swipe.
I will have 4 templates for you to choose from.
Written instructions will be emailed to you for 
future reference and you won't have to take notes!

2 paint brushes 1 large (1/2" - 3/4") &
one detail brush
