1/4/018 Thursday's @ NDB

It is my understanding that we will be in room 7 on the second floor for all the Thursday classes.

Barb and Katie have January birthdays, we'll discuss a date to celebrate.

I love to fulfill requests,
so we're starting off the new year with this standing easel calendar card.
I used a Hampton Art layering set and distress oxides.
One I used my water brush after stamping, the other is just stamped.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
bone folder
black edger
water brush if desired

That should do it,
Looking forward to getting back to card classes!

9/30/2014 class @CP2

Good morning all,
today we will be using a newly acquired stamp from Art Impressions.
I just thought this dog flying by was too cute.
Kept it fairly simple and masculine,
We will be doing a bit of masking.
I needed a card for my son's roommate.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
black edger
watercolor pencils or preferred medium
paint brush or water brush

I used broken china distress ink and a blending tool
for the sky/background.

Just a reminder we will be celebrating
 Bette's birthday on October 7th.
It is Nancy Bruce's birthday but she hasn't been in class
due to recent surgery, her mailing address
is on the class list if you would like to send her a card.

Thanks, have a wonderful week and see y'all on Tuesday!

10/29/2013 class @CP2

Finally got to sit down and make a sample for Tuesday.
Spent a wonderful day with my son yesterday, sometimes you just need it!
So without further ado, here's what we will be doing tomorrow.
The background is the same stamp, shifted or flipped,
in monochromatic colors.
The focal image is a set I received from my friend for my birthday,
a sizzix stamp & die for Graphic 45.
I edged one in gold, the other in brown.

Today you will need your basic class kit
including foam tape/pop dots
gold or brown edgers
Enjoy your day, see you tomorrow.

12/7/2011 class @ CP2 (temporary location Scraps Galore)

Hope everyone is saying nice and warm indoors, all errands are on hold ...
Being the generous person that I am, I made a donation to the Las Vegas economy this weekend!
So I'm back and ready for this week's card. We will be using the fabulous Tim's bird cage die, if you have seen any of his art, he hangs chain from the top with some baubles also adorns the bottom with a variety of hanging embellishments ... so if you have anything at home of that sort please feel free to bring it! See you Wednesday!
The usual class kit and
vintage photo or tea dye distress ink pad and applicator w/ foam.
Embellishments for cage.
