2/25/2014 class @CP2

All day I have been working on various cards for this class,
nothing was coming out the way that I imagined.
Finally cleared off my desk, put everything away,
a clean slate. Let's keep it simple.
So I dug through my never been used box
and saw this Penny Black stamp.
So this is what we will be creating this week.

Please bring your basic class kit including
black edger
I used ultra fine tip sharpies,
so if you have a favorite color bring it.
Time to start dinner ...
See you Tuesday,

2/18/2014 class @CP2

Bette had been telling me about a die she bought when she went to a stamp show in Tennessee.
Well last week she brought it in and offered it to me to use for a class.
So a great big Thank You to Bette.
In March of 2012 we made this card,
I cut and scored each one. yikes!

The Stamp Doctor released this die.
One pass through your die cut machine
and it is cut and scored
and fits into an invitation size envelope,
Did you see me doing my happy dance?

Center Step Card Die

and this is what I did with it,

Mid February and still sticking to my NY resolution,
Something new Bette's Die
Something old Penny Black stamp
I purchased quite some time ago and it has never seen ink,
until today

Bring your basic class kit
including your
non stick craft sheet
water brush or paint brush
bone folder
black edger
if you have
broken china distress pad
mowed lawn distress pad
water spritzer
I used watercolor pencils
but if you have a preferred medium please bring that.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you Tuesday.

2/11/2014 class @CP2

Last post for the day, figured I might as well do it all!
The feedback I was getting last week is that lunch is as important if not more important than the card.
Yes eating is a priority!
So here's today's card, we should be able to finish this one fairly quickly so we can get to lunch.
(Cheddars restaurant is this weeks lunch, just in case you were wondering)

Please bring your basic class kit
including a black edger and a white edger.
Have a wonderful week.

2/4/2014 class @CP2

February first, where does the time go?
Today's card is a stamp that I bought from China Phoenix 2 a couple of months ago,
time for it to see some ink.
This winter scene by Impression Obsession is wonderful.
Couldn't decide how much color I wanted to add, so I did it two ways.
The choice is yours.
Looking at it now I think it needs a bit of sparkle,
going to pull out my Wink of Stella Clear pen.

if you have
water color pencils or other coloring medium
water brush or paint brush
wink of stella clear
weathered wood distress ink
foam blending tool
