7/26/2018 Thursday's @ NDB

Today we will celebrate Kathleen's birthday, come join the fun!

Just a reminder the NDB multigenerational center will be closed
the week of August 6 - 10 there will be no class that week (9th).

Today's card is really quite simple but I think it's stunning.
I can't wait to see the different color combinations you come up with.
I choose to blend with distress oxides,
well because they are my favorites at the moment.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
a selection of ink pads (oxides) and blending tool
no more than three colors
poker
gold edger
Liquid glue pen

That should do it, see you next week!

7/19/2018 Thursday's @ NDB

We will celebrate Kathleen's birthday on July 26.

Another ocean themed card today,
do you think I'm yearning for the beach?

Today we will be using dylusion sprays
but out of a pallet and a large round paint brush (#10)
We will combine a die cut and stamped for the focal image.
Each one will come out different.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
spray bottle with water
large round paint brush (#10)
flat brushes will also work
empty plastic pallet if you have one
water cup
craft mat
glue pen
glue eraser
poker
edger

That should do it.
Stay cool and get inky!

7/12/2018 Thursday's @ NDB

We will celebrate Kathleen's birthday on July 26.

Summertime brings me thoughts of the ocean
where I spent many a days growing up on Long Island.

I've had this Stampendous stamp for quite some time
and I thought it was time for it to see some ink!
The background is a resist technique that I haven't used in a very long time.

including
Favorite coloring medium
I used watercolor markers and water brush
paper towel
Mermaid Lagoon distress oxide/foam blender for background
scissors
black edger

That should do it, have a great week!
