11/1/2018 Thursday's @ NDB

November is here,
I believe that we don't have any November birthdays,
if I'm wrong please let me know!

Time to do a few autumn cards before winter is upon us.
First up, emboss resist with distress oxides.
The gold embossing is beautiful in real life.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
liquid glue
tweezers
gold edger
2-3 autumn color distress oxides
foam blenders
I used
fossilized amber
spiced marmalade
fired brick

That should do it, see you next week.

Today I pulled out a stamp I haven't use in a while.
Tammy Tutterow did a series of stamps for Spellbinders
that focus on wonderful sentiments.
(BTW follow the link, they're on sale)
I created a background with versamark resist
 and distress oxides.
I colored my image with my Arteza real brush watercolor markers.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
black edger
poker
distress oxide ink 2-3 blendable colors
foam blending tool
favorite coloring medium
I used Arteza markers

Have a great week!

10/11/2018 Thursday's @ NDB

Alcohol Inks are making a comeback with the new
Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Lift pads.
I have them on back order,
they're so popular Ranger can't keep up with the demand.
In the meantime we'll be doing a technique called
Alcohol Ink Scrunch.
Today you will have the option of die cutting the AI piece or
cutting the image out of black and adding to the top of your AI piece.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
liquid glue pen
poker
non stick craft mat
gold edger
2-3 colors of alcohol inks that blend
felts and handles

I think that's it!
Enjoy the balloons and the cooler weather,
see you next week.
