6/6/2019 Thursday's @ NDB

Birthday Celebration 6/13 for Evelyn & Sara.
Snacks from Joan.

Today's card features a die I bought at this years stamp convention.
Every year when I'm at Tessler's booth I say I wonder how their dies cut?
Well this year I bit the bullet and bought the Japan Warrior #3,
I am pleased to say it cuts beautifully with a detail plate shim (metal one)

Instead of using washi paper, I decided we would make our own.
I will have both sentiments available.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
scissors
black/gold edger
liquid glue
paper towel
Distress Oxide ink your color choice
foam blender tool

That should do it, have a great week!

Last class of May, zipping into summer!
Today's card is a variation on the old technique called Joseph's Coat.

As you can see I've made a variety of samples
trying to get the colors just right.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
2-3 compatible distress oxide colors
1 darker distress oxide compatible color
foam blenders for all your colors
(any ink pad can be used)
spray bottle w/water
paper towel
mini glue dots for vellum
tweezers
black edger

That should do it, see you on Thursday!

5/16/2019 Thursday's @ NDB

Today we celebrate Diana's birthday!

We will be using this stamp from Altenew called Leaf Canopy.
The lesson is colored pencils on dark card stock.
This can be done on black but I thought
it might be too hard to see in class.
We will be working with Gamsol as our blending agent.

Please bring your basic class kit
including
colored pencils
sand eraser
pencil sharpener
black edger
if you have paper blending stumps

That should do it, see you all on Thursday!

5/9/2019 Thursday's @ NDB

May birthday celebration for Diana on 5/16.
We would also like to wish Lottie a happy birthday.

Today I'm on a little getaway with my hubby,
so Sue will be leading you during this class.

Here is what she wants to share.
These look like very ordinary cards,
but what brought each of them together is a mystery and a surprise!
Look for a lot of unexpected and weird fun in this class!

Bring the following in addition to your class kit:

Black or gold edger
Foam tape or Fun Foam
Liquid glue
Coloring medium of your choice

Have fun with Sue and I will see you all next week!
