Crafting through the Coronavirus Week 5 Challenge

Hello all ready for a new challenge.
I posted a request for topics and I heard back from a few of you,
on each persons list was flowers!
So week 5 will be flowers but I'm adding a twist for extra bonus points.
I've been seeing many cards with the Dutch Door,so I have pictures
and measurements for those that want to take on an additional challenge.
Remember you do not need to follow any of this ,
if you made a card or anything, snap a pic and share it. This is all just fun.

Dutch Door card
Start with a half sheet of 81/2 x 11 cardstock.
Cut 51/2 x 81/2
Fold in half and cut at 2 3/4 to fold line and up along fold line
 This is folded

OR
Cut 4 1/4 x 11, fold in half.
Cut in at 2 1/8 to center fold and up along fold.

This is what it will look like folded

 I used 12x12 printed paper, cut to 4 x 5 1/4
cut in half 2 5/8
One piece goes on the inside of the card at the top.
The other piece goes on the Dutch Door on the outside.
Because my pattern was continuous I made sure they matched up visually.
You can also create your own background with a variety of mediums,
inks, stamps or embossing folders

This one the same size background 4x 5 1/4 but cut at 2"

You can also use a piece of 4 1/4x 5 1/2 and it will fit edge o edge without the border.

I determined the size of my focal point by what I wanted to stamp with.
This is a 2 step stamp from Altenew call Stunning Cosmos.
I used 2 shades of the same color and I didn't have to color it it!
My focal piece is 3 x 4 1/4

Same size focal just shifted orientation

You have a spot inside to write your message.
I hope this is clear, any questions just email me.

Have fun, be crafty,
Stay safe & be well!

Crafting through the Coronavirus Week 3 Challenge

Here we go, week 3 challenges will be
wild or domestic animals.

Here's my card with a new stamp from Pink Ink.
